The Benefits of Community Partnership

Recently, I recorded 2024’s first The Law & Education episode with ICS Specialist Brittany Gates. Our conversation centered around the benefits of becoming an ICS Community Partner through the lens of a Title IX Coordinator. Brittany’s responses reminded me of the importance of Community for Title IX Professionals. This space is ever-changing, marked with uncertainty, and, let’s face it, challenging. The ICS Community is vital to ensuring Coordinators and other professionals feel supported in the day-to-day work. That is accomplished through our quarterly Zoom meetings and the LISTSERV where you have direct access to colleagues and the ICS team as issues arise.

The new regulations are coming, and there is no better time to understand the benefits of being an ICS Community Partner as well as the benefits of joining before the regulations are released as you work through budget season. Here are a few highlights:

Comprehensive Training: Stay up to date with Title IX compliance and federal regulations with 24/7 on-demand access to our Title IX University training.

Community Support: As a Community Partner, you can easily collaborate with a caring community of peers, ask questions, and seek answers.

Tools for Success: Our webinars, newsletters, interactive tools, compliance aids, survival kits, and more provide you with expert resources to help you navigate your role.

Building a Safer Future: Your commitment to Title IX compliance is a commitment to creating a safer and more inclusive educational environment. Become an ICS Community Partner and be part of a network dedicated to upholding the highest standards in education.

I encourage you to let us provide you with a proposal for becoming a Community Partner. Doing so will ensure you are ready for the new regulations and compliant by the implementation deadline. If you mention this Note and join before April 1, you can receive $500 off the annual fee. Contact us to get started.

Lastly, grab your spot in one of our live-virtual or in-person trainings. We have them for K-12 and Higher Ed. Registration is open for trainings through June. If you attended the Year-End Review webinar, use the discount code provided in that event for our live-virtual trainings. And if you missed the webinar, you can still catch the recording. We have both K-12 and a Higher Ed versions.

As we launch into 2024 with changes looming, the ICS team remains committed to providing care and support to you along the way.
