ICS will allow attendees to post its training materials as required by OCR in §106.45(b)(10)(i)(D) of the 2020 Title IX Regulations. Once registered for a virtual event, ICS will send additional instructions regarding this process.

Prerequisite: ICS Level 1 Investigator Training and/or more than one year’s experience as a Title IX Investigator.

The nature and scope of the Title IX investigative report has intensified dramatically for K-12 investigators with the implementation of the new Title IX regulations. The task of writing these reports is challenging for even the most experienced investigators. Join Courtney and Betsy for this interactive virtual training focused on the process for allowing the review of evidence, the drafting of reports, and the presentation of the reports to the parties for review and response. Attendees will participate in a 3 hour live intensive session where they will be introduced to new styles for organizing evidence for reports, fairly summarizing relevant evidence, and completing the investigative reports in a timely and equitable manner. Attendees will receive compliance aids, resources, and templates to assist in their critical role. Attendees will receive training that complies with the 2020 Title IX regulations, addresses best practices based on current litigation trends and OCR guidance, and if applicable, covers the latest on any new Title IX regulations released in 2023.

Registrants must be present for at least 80% of the duration of the training to receive a certificate of completion.
