ICS is excited to offer an in-person K-12 Title IX Investigator Training on September 15, 2022 in beautiful Chattanooga, TN. We highly recommend this training to Title IX team members who are responsible for investigating student and/or employee sexual misconduct. In this comprehensive certified training, attendees will receive a general overview of Title IX and an introduction to the Formal Grievance Process required under the 2020 regulations. The training will also provide detailed information regarding the role of an investigator and investigative practices. Participants will be instructed on best practices in report writing and avoiding conflicts of interest or bias in the investigative process. This interactive training will comply with the mandated training requirements of the 2020 Title IX regulations for Title IX investigators. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with the trainers, including an Optional Q&A with ICS team members Courtney Bullard, Celeste Bradley, and Betsy Smith.
