Community Access – Terms and Conditions

Divider

These terms and conditions outline the protocol and expectations for Community Partners and access to the Community.

  • Duration of Access: Community Access is based on a rolling-year calendar. Community Access expires one-year from receipt of payment and completion of the Community Access processing by ICS. Community Access becomes active upon receipt of payment and completion of internal processing. No retroactive product, training, or event discounts are given.
  • Transfer of Access: Community Access is transferable, but not refundable. A Community Access is owned by the institution that pays for it. Therefore, if a Community Access is purchased by an institution it remains with the paying institution. Please contact us to notify of any change in the primary Community Access contact with the link to contact form
  • Community Access Rules: By applying for Community Access in ICS, you assent to a limitation of damages in the event your Community Access registration form is not accepted or is terminated, in an amount not to exceed the paid value of your Community Access, prorated from the date of termination. Members who engage in fraud or misrepresentation are subject to having their Community Access voided. Pro rata refunds will be provided. ICS Community Access materials do not constitute legal advice and are not a substitute for legal advice.
  • Renewal: ICS automatically invoices a school/institution 30 days before its renewal date. All renewals are on the first of the renewal month. If you have questions about your renewal date, please contact your client development contact, or support@icslawyer.com.
  • Failure to pay: Unless a payment arrangement has been reached in advance with ICS, payment is due within 30 days of a school/institution’s renewal date. If payment is not received within 30 days of that date, service will be suspended. Once payment is received, access will be restored within 24 hours.
  • Cancellation of Community Access: Please provide written notice to ICS of an intent to cancel within 30 days of your renewal date. Failure to do so will result in invoicing. If a school/institution cancels outside of this 30 day requirement, and utilizes the Community (i.e. takes a course in Title IX University), ICS will charge the non-member rate for each course taken.
