Strong documentation practices are at the heart of defensible Title IX compliance. This intermediate-level training provides a clear, practical breakdown of the federal recordkeeping requirements under Title IX, including what institutions must maintain, how long records must be retained, and what documentation must be publicly available.
Participants will explore the seven-year retention mandate, supportive measure documentation requirements, investigative file components, informal resolution documentation, and training material obligations. The training also addresses common compliance pitfalls, best practices for defensible documentation systems, and implementation strategies to strengthen institutional recordkeeping practices.
This training is ideal for professionals responsible for Title IX compliance and civil rights documentation who want to ensure their processes meet regulatory requirements and withstand scrutiny.
Registrants must be present for at least 80% of the duration of the training to receive a certificate of completion.
