Part 1 of a 3-part recommended Title IX Coordinator training series.
This interactive, comprehensive training is designed specifically for K-12 Title IX Coordinators and provides the foundational knowledge required to meet the 2020 Title IX regulatory training requirements.
Participants will gain a clear understanding of the Coordinator’s role, including district obligations, the importance of impartiality, implementation of supportive measures, and the requirements of the formal grievance process. The training also covers the definition of sexual harassment, jurisdictional considerations, and when a report triggers a district’s Title IX response.
In addition, the training explores best practices for building and managing Title IX teams, identifying and addressing trends, and maintaining ongoing compliance, all within the context of the requirements of the 2020 Title IX regulations.
Training includes a certificate and posting link in compliance with the 2020 Title IX regulations. This training is recommended prior to taking the Foundations of Title IX: Training for New K-12 Title IX Coordinators training.
Registrants must be present for at least 80% of the duration of the training to receive a certificate of completion.
