Foundations of Title IX: Training for New Higher Ed Title IX Coordinators is an essential, in-depth training designed to prepare newly appointed Title IX Coordinators at colleges and universities to confidently step into their roles. This in-depth training is designed for newly appointed Higher Ed Title IX Coordinators who are ready to move beyond regulatory basics and build confidence in managing the role day-to-day.
While reinforcing key elements of the 2020 Title IX regulations, this training focuses on the practical realities of serving as a Coordinator at an institution. Participants will learn how to triage reports, implement supportive measures effectively, oversee compliant processes, and coordinate with administrators, investigators, and other stakeholders.
The training also addresses policy development, recordkeeping, training obligations, and institution-wide prevention and education efforts. Emphasis is placed on building sustainable systems and ensuring consistent, compliant responses across the institution.
Through interactive instruction, real-world scenarios, and practical tools, participants will leave equipped to confidently manage their Title IX responsibilities and strengthen their institution’s overall program.
Training includes a certificate and posting link in compliance with the Title IX regulations. Note: It is highly recommended that participants complete the HE Title IX Coordinator 2020 Regulations (Sexual Harassment) training before taking this training.
Registrants must be present for at least 80% of the duration of the training to receive a certificate of completion.
