Part 3 of a 3-part recommended Title IX Coordinator training series.
This advanced training is designed for experienced higher education Title IX Coordinators seeking to deepen their expertise and strengthen program leadership.
Building on foundational knowledge, this course explores complex compliance issues, emerging litigation trends, and strategic approaches to managing Title IX responsibilities in an evolving regulatory landscape.
Topics include navigating overlapping legal frameworks (such as ADA, FERPA, and Clery), managing high-risk and complex cases, overseeing appeals and informal resolutions, and implementing effective campus-wide prevention and training strategies.
Participants will also examine advanced policy review, data tracking and trend analysis, program evaluation, and preparation for OCR investigations or litigation. The training additionally addresses Title IX-related responsibilities that fall outside the 2020 regulations, including pregnancy accommodations and gender equity in athletics.
Through case studies, scenario-based exercises, and peer discussion, attendees will enhance their ability to proactively manage risk and lead a compliant, responsive Title IX program.
Training includes a certificate and posting link in compliance with the Title IX regulations.
Registrants must be present for at least 80% of the duration of the training to receive a certificate of completion.
