The evolution of Title IX compliance and the role and profession of the Title IX Coordinator has developed significantly over the past decade. Today, there are a variety of ways in which institutions structure Title IX offices, but the core foundation of the role of these positions and offices remains the same. In this comprehensive Bootcamp, attendees move beyond the basic Title IX requirements to also engage in a deeper analysis of their own institution’s compliance efforts. The Bootcamp is interactive, and works alongside a Title IX Compliance workbook to evaluate all angles of compliance – support and care, investigations, education and prevention, office structure, identifying the appropriate individuals for a Title IX team, tracking patterns and trends, and the overlap of Title IX with other laws and regulations. This Bootcamp is appropriate for new Title IX Coordinators, a seasoned Coordinator who is working for a new institution, or one who has been at their current institution for some time. This training is conducted in two, 3 hour sessions.
Registrants must be present for at least 80% of the duration of the training to receive a certificate of completion.
